PacificHealth Laboratories Sells Sports Drink Assets to Mott’s
PacificHealth Laboratories, Inc., Mata­wan, NJ, has announced that Mott’s, Rye Brook, NY, has purchased the trademarks, technology and patents for its brands Accelerade and Endurox R4. Under the terms of the agreement, PacificHealth will receive $4 million initially, in addition to a royalty based on sales for a defined period. The company was also granted an exclusive royalty-free license to use the intellectual property and trademarks for the continued manufacture, distribution and marketing of Accelerade and Endurox R4 brands in powder and gel forms.
